Switching Modes

A touch screen interface at the stage as well as an iPad app provide system control and presets for system setups. Source volumes, individual zone controls, and video controls are provided during typical dining times.

Once the “Band Mode” preset has been selected on the touch screen the system switches to a preset suitable for live events. In this mode the speaker system is switched from a distributed mode to a stage-centric orientation capable of continuous 111dB. The main speakers at the stage become the focal point of the system and the smaller speakers around the patio are gain shaded and delayed to provide support for the main speakers. The source of the program is the stereo XLR (line) inputs installed on the stage-left front pillar of the stage in this mode.

Using the Mixer

An 18-channel (16 mic preamps) digital audio mixer with touch screen is provided for the live event if needed. The house iPad has an app to remotely control the mixer for remote control. Artists will be required to provide an audio engineer to setup mixer and mix the audio while performing. No engineer will be provided by the venue. If desired, performers may bring their own mixers in place of the provided mixer. A stereo line level out is needed to connect to the inputs on the stage.

Three self-powered monitors will be provided with cabling for artists’ support. Mixes for these monitors will be through the house or artists provided mixer.

Permanent production lighting fixtures are installed around the stage to support live events. Seven PAR and seven linear wall wash fixtures are installed on the stage. An app on the house iPad shall provide all lighting control.
